William Champion is an English musician, songwriter, and the drummer of alternative rock band Coldplay. He is also the group's most prominent backing vocalist and occasionally takes the lead in some live performances, such as 'Death Will Never Conquer' on the Viva la Vida Tour and 'In My Place' during the A Head Full of Dreams Tour.
